A little while ago, I caught a cold and went to the hospital. It had been my first time going to this hospital referred to me by the people in the office. Since I had come to Tokyo, I had received help from hospitals many times, but I wasn’t really in the mood to go back to that hospital again. I really haven’t grown to like big, modern hospitals, and so I’m not comfortable in them. But the hospital they recommended had good examination cards, and because I was pleased with many things they did, I decided to make it my usual hospital. I visited four times for the same cold. Of course, the cold went away.

I wonder why I was pleased with that hospital……? It was a place that brought back a few old feelings, so that was good. It somewhat resembled the hospital I used to go to when I was a child. It has a skylight and a nice waiting room. It’s a nice place with picture books. Of course, it even had “Josei Seven.” Moreover, there were a lot of old people in the waiting room. That hospital’s doctor was also an old man. When I had an IV, while I was on my back, that doctor shared with me stories of the world. He would be with me when I took my medicine and I felt like his words helped it go down, which was pleasant.

It’s better to be healthy, but I don’t dislike going to the doctor. That is, I guess saying “to be treated” echoes a sense of security. But being hospitalized for serious illnesses is absolutely horrible. I guess maybe I really only like the time spent waiting in the peaceful waiting room up until my name is called.

Good question. There isn’t a deep meaning behind it. I thought it seemed interesting to name an artificial color after the cabbageworm… No more than that. The end (laugh).

Sobre el hospital.

Hace un tiempo, agarré un resfriado y fui al hospital. Fue la primera vez que fui a este hospital recomendado por la gente de la oficina. Desde que llegué a Tokyo, he recibido ayuda de los hospitales muchas veces, pero no tenía ánimos de volver a ese hospital. Realmente no me gustan mucho los hospitales grandes y modernos, así que no me siento cómodo en ellos. Pero el hospital que me recomendaron tenía buenas tarjetas de examinación, y porque me sentía satisfecho con muchas cosas que hicieron, decidí convertirlo en mi hospital de siempre. Fui cuatro veces por el mismo resfriado. Por supuesto, el resfriado ya se fue.

Me pregunto por qué me sentía bien en ese hospital… Era un lugar que me traía unos viejos sentimientos, así que era bueno. En cierto modo se parecía al hospital al que solía ir cuando era un niño. Tiene una claraboya y una sala de espera bastante linda. Es un lugar lindo con libros de fotos. Por supuesto, también tenía “Josei Seven”. Más que eso, habían muchos ancianos en la sala de espera. El doctor de ese hospital igual era un anciano. Cuando tenía puesto un suero, y mientras estaba recostado, ese doctor compartía conmigo historias del mundo. Él estaba conmigo mientras me tomaba mi medicina y sentía que sus palabras ayudaban a que bajara, lo que era bueno.

Es mejor ser sano, pero no me disgusta ir al doctor. Eso es, creo que el decir “ser tratado” da un sentimiento de seguridad. Pero ser hospitalizado por alguna enfermedad grave es absolutamente horrible. Creo que quizás sólo me gusta el tiempo que paso en la sala de espera hasta que mi nombre es llamado.

Buena pregunta. No hay un significado profundo detrás de él. Pensé que sería interesante el llamar a un color artificial como una col… No má que eso. El fin (risas)
